Market Report: Investors are hungry
Boise investors are hungry to buy great deals. Marked as one of the countries "hot spots" by Forbes magazine, investors are scouring the Boise area for real estate deals. "Investors are hungry, but many of the properties for sale on the market are currently overpriced" says local Century 21 consultant Nick Vanassche. Many of the bank owned properties for sale are undercutting other properties on the market: causing a decline in home values. This is tough when many buyers are being picky and willing to wait for the right deal to come along.
Many outside investors are still looking to invest in the Boise area. "One of the biggest obstacles is finding the deals before they hit the market: if they have hit the market it is too late" says William Green, a local business development officer specializing in investor financing.
